No kidding.  Following the successful launch of the El Paso Chihuahuas, Juarez wants in on the action!

According to the El Paso Times, a group consisting of Dallas Mavericks Owner/President Donnie Nelson, former Texas Ranger Ivan Rodriguez and Mexican basketball player/ex-Maverick Eduardo Najera have presented an official proposal to bring a baseball team to Juarez.

The Juarez team would compete in the U. S. Independent League, which is the same league the El Paso Diablos played in before moving to Missouri.  The Juarez team would not play against, or in the same league as, the El Paso Chihuahuas.

If this team happens, would you go to Juarez to watch them play?
