Crunchtime was live at Barnett-Harley Davidson for the 26th semi-annual blood drive on Saturday and we couldn't have been more impressed with this tremendous event.  Tons of people were waiting to donate blood, shop for motorcycles and carry out a good deed as well.  Folks started trickling in at 9 am and by the time the show ended at 1 pm, there was standing room only to donate blood.  A representative from Vitalant (formerly United Blood Services) and the art director for Barnett Harley-Davidson were interviewed on the show and gave a great perspective as to just how important this event is to El Paso and Las Cruces.

The blood drive will last until Monday, January 21 and is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Visit Barnett Harley-Davidson in El Paso at 8272 or at 2600 Lakeside in Las Cruces if you are interested in donating blood.  Free food will be provided for blood donors thanks to Domino’s Pizza, and every morning, Southern Maid Donuts, Starbucks and Sarah Farms will provide coffee and orange juice to donors.  Every donor will also receive a goody bag filled with coupons from Chick-fil-A and Whataburger, t-shirts, including raffle prizes from National Furniture Liquidators, plus a chance at winning a Harley Motorcycle all thanks to Barnett Harley Davidson.
