Crane Collapses At Itaquera World Cup Stadium In Brazil

One of the stadiums in Brazil that is scheduled to host matches in the 2014 Wold Cup was damaged today when a crane collapsed on a portion of it. Three people were also killed in the accident.

Itaquerao Stadium in Sao Paulo, Brazil also known as the Arena Corinthians is the venue scheduled to hold the Wold Cup opening match and also a semifinal match.

Fortunately it was lunch time when this happened, so there were not as many workers around when the crane went down.
