Cowboys Keep Playoff Hopes Alive
It's certainly been a different season this year compared to last for the Dallas Cowboys. Last year the Cowboys opened the season with a loss to the Giants. But then rattled off 11 straight wins, until losing again to those same New York Giants.
This year, the Cowboys have struggled without starting running back Ezekiel Elliott, who is set to return to the team this coming up weekend after serving his 6 game suspension. Then again, the team did start this year off 2 and 3, with Elliott in the line up. After dropping the first three games of Zeke's suspension, they have won three games in a row.
The Cowboys did what they needed to for their playoff hopes alive with a 20 to 17 victory over the Raiders last night. With just two games remaining in the season, the Cowboys still need some help to get into the playoffs. The team currently sits at 8 and 6, a half game behind the Atlanta Falcons for the final Wild Card spot in the NFC.
Next up for the Cowboys? They host the Seattle Seahawks who are coming off an absolute a**whooping given to them by the Los Angeles Rams. Yes, you read that right. The Rams beat the Seahawks 42 to 7! Then, for the final game of the year, the Cowboys will be taking on the division champion Philadelphia Eagles.
The Seahawks and the Cowboys are currently tied at 8 and 6, so a Cowboys victory would clearly vault them ahead the Hawks, but Dallas does still need some help to get into the playoffs. First things first, they need the Atlanta Falcons to lose tonight to Tampa Bay.
