Former UTEP football coach Mike Price joined the Iceman on Sportstalk on Friday afternoon to discuss a variety of topics.  Among the numerous things that were talked about was the incident that occurred last Saturday December 3, following the UTEP Men's basketball loss to Northwestern State where Price went into the stands to confront fans holding up a "Fire Floyd" sign.

Coach also discussed how he feels that fans should show their frustrations towards basketball and football, and what Coach Floyd thought of the incident.  We spoke about how he feels that UTEP football and basketball can once again become relevant in the Sun City, and why he thinks that so many players have transferred from the basketball program in recent years.

Price discussed the football program and all of the local recruits that make up the current roster, and the Dallas Cowboys recent success with rookie QB Dak Prescott.  He also spoke about the parallels between Prescott taking over for the Tony Romo following his back injury, and his former QB Drew Bledsoe from Washington State losing his starting job toTom Brady.
