Club Leon will face Bravos de FC Juarez at Southwest University Park on Wednesday night and it appears that there will be plenty of intensity on the pitch despite it being a “friendly”. Leon head coach Luis Fernando Tena addressed the media this morning after Leon's final training session and talked up the match nicely...and simply put he wants to win.

“We are looking forward to a tough match, we know that they are a strong team. They are recent champions whose off-season acquisitions were very good. We just came off of good performance against Club America a couple of days ago, and now we are here with that same intention, to play tomorrow night with that same intensity and seriousness and of course to win the game.”

Tena continued, “I hope a full stadium turns out as fans will be treated to a serious, intense match as Leon always puts on with they take the playing field.”

Leon tied against Club America in Chicago just two days ago by the score of 1-1 and defeated Minnesota United FC 4-2 on June 25th. Their final preparation match prior to the start of the 2016 Liga MX Apertura season will be on Saturday night against Morelia in Austin.

As for FC Juarez, they will want to finish their preseason on a winning note as they only won 1 of the 3 preseason matches the club had in Guadalajara. This is will also be the the only opportunity for fans from both sides of the border to see Bravos prior the start of the 2016 Apertura on July 16th against Mineros de Zacatecas at Benito Juarez Olympic Stadium.
