Christmas Fun: Ruidoso’s Electric Light Parade in 154 Seconds [VIDEO]
Every year from Thanksgiving through Christmas, Ruidoso, NM, has its Festival of Lights. One of the big events during the festival is the Electric Light Parade, where businesses and organizations (including Ruidoso’s Buddhist community! “Ommmmm…Dreamin’ of a White Christmas”?) decorate floats and cars with Christmas lights and run down Sudderth Dr.
It’s a great Southwest homespun Holiday event, and the hard snow the night before made it even more festive, as you’ll be able to see with some bonus nature footage at the end!
