Chihuahuas GM Excited About Upcoming Promotions [AUDIO]
With only 22 home games left in their inaugural season, the Chihuahuas have already broken El Paso’s single season Minor League attendance mark, and will approach 500,000 total fans at Southwest University Park. The team just lost popular outfielder Jeff Francoeur, who was called up to the San Diego Padres. Friday night, the first 2,000 fans will receive a ballpark replica as part of Latino Heritage Night.
Brad Taylor, the Chihuahuas’ general manager, appeared on Sportstalk via the Village Inn Hotline to talk about losing a popular fan favorite, his new Twitter handle, and the team’s special promotions.
