Chiefs’ Dexter McCluster Helps Raise Thousands for Special Needs Fans
Good guy Dexter McCluster took to his Facebook page this week, asking the Chiefs Nation to help a single mother who needs a handicapped van for her twins boys with Cerebral Palsy.
Amy wrote McCluster about her boys Blake and Trey, asking the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver to spread the word about her situation. Hours after posting this message to his Facebook page, McCluster and his many fans have raised more than $10,000 for the family.
Hundreds of donations have been registered in the last 24 hours on the GoFundMe site for Blake and Trey, many of which with a note thanking McCluster and supporting Chiefs Nation.
In 2013, McCluster had 511 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. He was one of eight Chiefs players to be voted into the 2014 Pro Bowl.
