CBS Sports Network to Air 1966 Texas Western Documentary on February 28th [VIDEO]

CBS Sports Network announced that they will air a one hour special documentary to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Texas Western College National Championship. 1966 Texas Western: Champions of Change will debut Sunday, February 28th at 10am MT on CBS Sports Network.

The television crew was in town during the UTEP's week long celebration for the '66 team and they filmed the documentary at Memorial Gym. The surviving members of that team were interviewed by Jack Ford in front of a packed crowd. The Haskins family, Tina and Michelle Hill, Tim Floyd, Nolan Richardson, and El Paso Times veteran writer Bill Knight were also interviewed for the special. No members of the 1966 Kentucky Wildcats team were in attendance at Memorial Gym, but Pat Riley and Larry Conley were interviewed for the special.
