Cathedral on the Road to Deming for Friday Night Football

Well we're preparing to get on the road to Deming, NM to take on the Wildcats. We both share a record of (4-3). Deming is coming off a whooping on Tornillo 41-8. Unfortunately, Cathedral couldn't come in clutch at the end and lose a heart breaker to Santa Teresa 24-12. Hopefully this after "road trip" we'll come back with another win. Looking to go to the playoffs!

Burges Mustangs’ Homecoming Filled with Drama

Homecoming brings drama and Mustang Stadium was filled with it Oct. 7.

Facing the Jefferson Foxes, the Mustangs dug themselves into a massive hole. Heading into the fourth quarter, Burges found itself down 21-6, and quickly running out of time.

Cathedral Feeling Good Heading Out to Chaparral This Friday

Man, it feels good to come off a win like that. With tough and smart defense, the Wildcat offense was no match for the Irish. Cathedral comes off a 27-7 victor over the Fabens Wildcats to now obtain a record of 3-2. The Irish travel to Chaparral, NM for its second round of Lobos this season. The Lobos are coming off a loss to Roswell by a score of 42-6.

Chapin Looks to Cancel Rockets’ Friday Flight

Confident coming off a another big win, Chapin Husky football meets another northeast rival playing Irvin rockets Friday night at Irvin memorial stadium. Chapin has a 9-0 all time series lead against Irvin.

Last season, Chapin came away with a 31-21 victory over the Rockets.

The Knights gave it their all at Friday's home game against the Franklin Cougars. At the end of the game, the Cougars took the win against the Knights, 43-20.

The Knights (0-4, 0-2 district) will face the Coronado Thunderbirds this Thursday, Sep. 22, at Coronado. Game begins at 7 p.m.

Andress Looks to Stop Burges Winning Streak

Andress ended their night in disappointment last friday as Chapin walked away the winner of the district 1-4A season opener.
"We were determined to win and we had a good chance but we did not perform," running back Rashad Chisholm said.
