This is not the Resident Evil you were expecting. Capcom decided to take a detour before the sixth installment of their survival horror series to bring some squad-based multiplayer to the zombie-infested property. To do so they enlisted the help of developer Slant Six Games, the team behind multiple ‘SOCOM’ titles, and the results are a bit mixed.
Word has it that Nintendo only went with Kid Icarus: Uprising as the subtitle for its new Kid Icarus 3DS game only after ‘Wristbreaker,’ ‘Carpal Tunnel Provider’ and ‘What the Eff is Up With These Controls?’ options didn’t test well in focus groups.

While we still suffer from a glut of video games before the holidays and right at the end of every year, game publishers are finally starting to learn to spread the releases out a bit. I’m about halfway through a dark subway tunnel when I realize I’ve been here before. I had ended up back in the dark, dirty depths after nearly being asphyxiated in the dust storm currently raging outside, one of the many dangerous things in this new, post-apocalyptic world. I haven’t been in the city for a year since the disaster and the streets are still very familiar to me, but I never expected the subways to trigger a memory. But this one was more recent- I had been here only hours before. In fact, I realized that I had helped a starving woman at the end of the tunnel, giving her the food cans that she so desperately needed.
