American skier Robert ‘Sandy’ Vietze was booted from the US Ski Team on Friday when it was discovered he did something pretty unspeakable on a JetBlue flight on Tuesday night.
After a weeklong training camp in Oregon with the US Ski Team, the 18-year-old Vietze apparently downed eight alcoholic beverages before boarding a redeye to New York’s JFK airport. During the flight, he got up from his seat, stumbled a few rows down the aisle, and commenced to urinate on an 11-year-old girl.

After leaving Ohio on not-so-civil terms with the state’s residents, LeBron James returned to Akron on Tuesday to cut the ribbon at a new clubhouse named in his honor.
The LeBron James Clubhouse resides inside an Akron Boys & Girls Club where LeBron played as a kid. He donated the $240,000 necessary for the renovation, and said that in spite of where he goes, Akron will “always be home no matter where I am.”

South Africa’s athletics federation announced that it has chosen Oscar Pistorius, a double-amputee runner, to join this month’s world championships in Daegu, South Korea, AP reports. For Pistorius, 24, it’s a dream come true, since he’ll get the opportunity to race against able-bodied athletes.
Pistorius becomes the first amputee athlete at the worlds and will compete in the 400 meters event, and participate in the 4×400 relay.
