Perhaps no team read this year’s trade market better than the Rangers. Texas general manager Jon Daniels was focused on one thing leading up to July 31 — improve the pitching staff. While riding his bicycle on Sunday night in Oregon, former Detroit Lions quarterback Joey Harrington was struck by an SUV. He sustained a broken collar bone, a punctured lung, and a cut to his head in the collision, according to reports.
