Overcome by emotion as he talked about his friendship with the man who likely forced him out of the job he loved, Director of Athletics Bob Stull, UTEP head coach Mike Price announced his retirement, effective as of the final whistle of the Miners' final game this Saturday against the Rice Owls.
UTEP Director of Athletics Bob Stull called it one of the hardest things he's ever done: accepting -- if not forcing -- the resignation of his friend, Miners head coach Mike Price. Talking about what Price has to elevate the program, Stull also talked about what he'll look for in the next UTEP head coach.

November 19, 2012 Earlier this morning, we learned that UTEP football coach Mike Price would be revealing his "future plans" at a noon press conference. That news is not surprising since the team has one game left to play and this is Coach Price's final media luncheon of the season. The only question now is what decision will he make?
