Canelo-Angulo Fight Preview
Tonight, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Alfredo “El Perro” Angulo will meet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, for a highly anticipated fight which many believe will be action packed.
Canelo, is obviously the favorite and his opponent Angulo was more than likely chosen to help get Canelo back into the win column.
However, I do feel like Angulo might have a fighting chance in this one. He looks determined to shock people and is heavily focused on this fight, I mean if you beat Canelo Alvarez on a PPV event it could only lead to bigger and better things.
Remember, Angulo sent Erislandy Lara to the canvas twice before have the fight stopped due to the massive damage to his eye in the 10th.
For Canelo, he needs this win more then ever, a loss now can really put a dent on his huge reputation with Mexican fight fans. There is no doubt that Canelo has power but some are saying he has never faced power like Angulo.
If Canelo fights with the speed that he had with Austin Trout I believe Angulo wont be able to touch him.
Both fighters have a lot riding on this fight and have both said this is going to be a war.
My prediction Canelo in the 10th with a KO but I think we might see Angulo put Canelo down sometime in the fight. I guess well have to wait and see how this one plays out.
You can catch all the action on Showtime PPV @ 9pm. ET
