The Los Angles Lakers have been without a head coach since April 30th and finally one of the most historic franchises in the NBA has found their new coach and it comes in the form of a former player.

The Lakers have hired former player Byron Scott as the 25th coach of the team. Scott says "it's a dream come true" to come back and be the new coach of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Scott, who won three NBA titles as a shooting guard for the Lakers,  will take over the Lakers with a four-year, $17 million contract.
