The free two-day camp is an excellent way for high school football players to prepare themselves for college. In addition to position coaches working with the seven offensive and defensive groups, Young and his volunteers give important tips for proper weight training, diet and nutrition, and college entrance exams. They encourage parents to attend all of the seminars and watch the workouts from the Sun Bowl. Saints defensive assistant and linebackers coach James Willis is making his first trip to El Paso for the camp and he will help Young over the next two days. Ed Stansbury, Dave Adkins, Tim Duckworth, and Spencer Conley are all helping coach at the camp.

Young, who starred at Andress High School, has spent the last seven seasons as an assistant coach with the New Orleans Saints. Injuries derailed his playing career, but the Saints liked him so much they kept him in the organization in various coaching capacities. Young is the Saints Pass Rushing Specialist and he is excited about his team's new defensive draft picks.
