From 2008 to 2011, Brian Wilson was one of the best closers in major league baseball. Pitching for the San Francisco Giants, Wilson tossed a combined 3.00 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, 2.65 K/BB and 163 saves during that span.

But everything good must come to an end. After throwing just two innings in 2012, the then-30-year-old was forced to undergo his second career Tommy John surgery.

Wilson, now more than 15 months removed from surgery, auditioned for major league teams on July 25. Even though the ex-Giants closer "looked good," according to a scout, his average fastball was still about five miles-per-hour slower than it clocked in at pre-surgery.

In the event no team comes knocking, below are 10 non-baseball careers Brian Wilson and his outlandish beard could pursue instead.
