Big Hits Delivered: Miners Blast Ball, Stand Tall in Loss to Wisconsin [VIDEO]
Wisconsin may have taken care of business against UTEP, winning, 37-26; but the Miners did nothing to take away from their growing reputation as a physical team, including DB Richard Spencer’s big hit on Badgers’ Montee Ball that forced the all-America running back’s first fumble ever.
Though he would eventually score, Ball took another huge blow on the touchdown run that would keep him out of the game for good.
It’s on to Conference USA play next weekend for UTEP as the Miners (1-3) play at East Carolina (2-1) next Saturday.
