Abner Mares came to El Paso with one thing in mind and that was to leave with his second World Championship.

With the chants of "MEXICO" raining down, Mares is leaving El Paso with the WBC belt.

Mares came out tonight and was the one that started all the contact and mixed it up the most and he deserved to win tonight.

Take nothing away from Marel, he had a game plan and he stuck to it, he just didn't have the fire power he needed.

Mares is now 24-0-1, while  Morel is 46-3.
