On Saturday, November 9, 2013, Sun Bowl Stadium will host a triple-header of high school football games to close out the regular season in the El Paso-area. Those will consist of 1-4A games pitting Austin vs El Paso, Irvin vs Andress and Jefferson vs Bowie
As we enter Week Eight of the high school football season, there now seems to be a logjam in 1-5A for the title and playoff spots, there might be a new power in 2-4A, and one school seems to have clinched a winning season for the first time since the late '90s

Potential playoff teams are beginning to separate themselves as district is really starting to heat up in the Greater El Paso area after six weeks of high school football action is in the books. We have now gone through 2 weeks of high school football, and it is looking like another exciting year of action. It was officially Week One this past week, and it was full of close, back-and-forth type games
