Walking into the Burges football locker room, the mission is clear. The words, “Payback Tour 2011” hang on the white board, and players can’t miss it.
Cathedral High School was the first on the “tour” schedule. Burges paid back the Irish in a 35-7 win after losing to them last year.

The start of a new school year is never easy. Students are disoriented, learning new schedules, meeting new teachers, and sometimes meeting new students. The discombobulated start of school can be reflected to the discombobulated start of a new football season. Coaches learn the strengths and weaknesses of new players, leading to some confusion to start. The teams that overcome that confusion and learn to work together in the slowest amount of time are usually the teams that perform at the highest levels, something that Coronado and Canutillo have been successful at in the past years, and Friday night will be a clear example of that.
During the finals of the Madrid Open last weekend, number-one tennis player Rafael Nadal hit a stunning between-the-legs winner after a long rally with number-two seed Novak Djokovic.
It's the second time Djokovic has been victimized by the trick shot in a high-profile match; Roger Federer pulled off an almost identical move against him in the semi-finals of the 2009 U.S. Open.
Despite Nadal's shot, Djokovic managed to win the Madrid Open, marking his 34th-consecutive victory.
Who knew that throwing a slimy octopus onto a hockey rink was a 50-plus year tradition? Die-hard Detroit Red Wings fan Charlie Graves did. But what the Farmington resident didn't know was that following through with that tradition could --and would -- land him with a court date.
During a concert at U.S. Airways Arena in Phoenix Tuesday night, hip-hop diva Nicki Minaj pulled Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash up on stage and proceeded to give him a lap dance.
From the bewildered, somewhat frightened look on Nash's face, you can tell he's not really a strip club kind of guy. Nash's teammate, Vince Carter, tweeted this reaction to Nash's reaction: "If y'all could have seen @SteveNash face when @nickiminaj got on top of him ... #Classic."
Anyway, we can't blame Nash for wanting to be somewhere else - like the playoffs. Read on to see the video.
