There’s prestige in pole dancing. No longer relegated to seedy strip clubs, the sexy activity has become mainstream, spawning instructional videos, workout routines and legitimate competitions.
Just ask pole performer Annie Norris, whose rise to success reminds us of the plot of ‘Miracle’ – but with less clothes and no Kurt Russell.
Norris told The Sun that she was bullied in school for being scrawny and pimply. My how times have changed! The six-year pole dancing veteran was recently named ‘Best Pole Dancer of 2011′ at the UK Professional Pole Championships.
