Amy Lawrence of CBSSports Radio and Network was in town to be the analyst for the UTEP Women vs Rice on Thursday night on CBSSports Network and was kind enough to give us sometime before the game.
Lawrence talks about joining CBSSports Radio and Network, being a basketball junkie, her play by play career, UTEP Womens basketball, the state of womens college basketball and much more.
“Women’s college basketball certainly is a niche sport and in parts of the country is the best thing going… I think it benefits nationally if people get sucked in by the competition on the court.”
