The “bank” is usually not open for business on a basketball court, especially not from 80-feet away, but Temidayo Yussuf, a high school basketball player at St. Joseph Notre Dame High School in Alameda, California proved everyone wrong by making one of the craziest buzzer-beating shots this season.

Yussuf, a Long Beach State commit, took the rebound from a missed free throw and with .6 seconds remaining banked home the miraculous shot forcing overtime.  Unfortunately, the momentum of the shot was not enough as his team lost in the extra session to the number three ranked (CA) El Cerrito Gauchos this past Friday night, but an awesome memory to say the least.

This video gives a whole new meaning to… “And the crowd goes wild”.
