The Astros and Rangers combine for three All-Stars for the 2015 MLB All-Star Game Tuesday, July 14, at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Dallas Keuchel and Jose Altuve are representing the Astros. Keuchel in his first and Altuve in his 3rd. Altuve was voted in by the fans this year as a starter.

Prince Fielder is the lone Ranger (ha!) on the All-Star Roster.

In any All-Star situation, not everyone can be happy. Not everyone gets a trophy in professional sports. Every team has two or three players that elicit outcry at the fact they did not make the roster. This does not mean that there are a few deserving players that did, in fact, get snubbed.

SNUBBED in the AL

Alex Rodriguez (.284/.390/.513, 16 HR, 47 RBI)

It seems Mr. Rodriguez, who is having his best season since 2009, is being punished for being, well, Alex Rodriguez.

In this fan-voted All-Star game, it would seem like the biggest fan bases would have an advantage. But in Rodriguez's case, his off-the-field past has hardened the hearts of Yankees fans across America.

Does he qualify for MLB Comeback player of the year if it was a league mandated year off? It is time to forgive Alex Rodriguez. He served his time; let the man return to glory.

SNUBBED in the NL

Lance Lynn (6-4, 2.53 ERA)

Lynn has started 15 games so far in 2015 and has 10 quality starts and 97 strike outs. The biggest knock against Lance Lynn is that the Cardinals have 2 other starters having better seasons than him.

The Cardinals have Micheal Wacha, who was selected to his first All-Star Game, and Carlos Martinez, who is up for the 2015 Esurance MLB All-Star Final Vote, that are also enjoying All-Star worthy seasons.

The Cardinals staff is having a historic year with a staff ERA of 2.59. There has not been a lower staff ERA since the Orioles had a 2.54 ERA in 1972.

The final vote ends Friday, July 10, 2015 at 3 p.m. VOTE HERE NOW
