600 ESPN El Paso Announces New “Athlete of the Week” Feature – Nominate an Athlete Today

The Sun City is no stranger to exceptional athletes. From Andy and Syd Cohen to Nolan Richardson, our area cranks out some notable players. With this in mind, we’re launching our “Athlete of the Week” feature online and on air. 

Each week, we’ll be highlighting one exceptional athlete from the Borderland. From the Fabens Wildcats to the Onate Knights, we’re looking for notable players in any sport. Know a kid that’s great, but not yet in high school? We want to know! Nominate any athlete under 18 for our program and the winner gets special recognition from our station and the opportunity to be a guest speaker on one of our shows.
