Last night's sixth game of the 2011 World Series was an instant classic. Although it was not the prettiest played game in the early innings, there was enough drama to last most baseball fans until next year's Spring Training. St. Louis Cardinals third baseman David Freese redeemed himself for his missed pop-up with the game tying hit in the 9th inning and later the game winning walkoff home run in the 11th. Although the Texas Rangers had two diferent opportunities to win the game (the Cards were down to their last strike on two different occasions), St. Louis just refused to lose. The game is clearly one of the greatest in World Series history.
